Over 1000 children from Primary Schools across Bristol came together for Stop Everything and Sing LIVE! our mass singing and signing event, on Tuesday 30th March.
Children in KS1 took part in a live streamed share with uplifting songs about being the best we can be and it really was wonderful!
Once again we welcomed Paul Whittaker OBE who helped the children learn the signing to a beautiful song called Life Changes and Good to be Me.
We are so excited to have been able to bring the joy of singing together back to classrooms for young people.
Huge thanks to Sing Up for the use of their fantastic resources.
Coming up in June is our KS2 mass singing and playing event where singers from Bristol schools will be accompanied by young instrumentalists from the schools Primary Orchestra, and we are delighted that our good friend Naomi Wilkinson from CBBC will also be joining in on the fun.
To take part in our KS2 singing and playing concert contact laurie.stewart[ATSIGN]bristolbeacon.org for more information of how to get involved.
On Wednesday 23 September 2020 Colston Hall changed its name to Bristol Beacon, and this means we’re changing too.
Bristol Plays Music is run by Bristol Music Trust, the charity that also runs the venue formerly known as Colston Hall. These two organisations will soon unite under one name: Bristol Beacon.
